    to be fair, you can't blame them for all the good teams bolting frrom CUSA. Cincy, Louisville, DePaul, Marquette, Charlotte and St. Louis all had varying degrees of success in basketball, with the first four obviously being the best historically. And, schools like UTEP, USM, Tulsa and UAB, which have had decent programs in the past, really were nothing to speak about this year. Memphis won the games that it played, which is all they can do, really. i don't blame them for the losses of those teams, wasn't really under their control...i just don't see why some pollsters think they are a top 5 team when they haven't beaten anybody this year...cusa was cupcake city this year and they have benefitted greatly...they may prove me wrong and waltz through the ncaa's, but i highly doubt it.

    haha, i leave the site for a while and come back to see that i'm not the only one who thinks memphis is over-rated...i don't think they should they get a #2 seed let alone a #1.

    does anyone else think memphis benefits from playing in conference usa and are not a top 5 team? i've seen them play several times this year and always come away unimpressed mainly because of the teams they beat.

    It's called PASSION! No it's called overreacting/total lack of baseball perspective. It's spring training, and means little. Particularly, for a pitcher injured for the majority of 2 years. As long as has normal soreness, and isn't hurt, today was a good day. If he's throwing 85 at the end of ST, then worry. exactly....and i wasn't even talking about prior...i was talking about how everyone flipped their lids because cedeno grounded into a DP in a meaningless game.
