  1. Thanks. That was from BA.
  2. It may turn out that the wind will be more of a factor than the rain, eh? I always thought it would, but right now it's not too bad either (9 mph from the north at Opa Locka right now).
  3. There likely won't be any thunderstorms or heavy rain but light showers should continue off and on in the game.
  4. It's raining right now at the stadium - the field is in pristine condition.
  5. They had Urlacher and Grossman interviews on WBBM just now.
  6. Mike Brown (:() about to be interviewed on WBBM.
  7. Just win five in a row and you'll be guaranteed to get Rich. :) List should be updated through Big Fergie J.
  8. Just like BA hopped off Dopirak and Harvey's bandwagons after multiple struggling seasons? Oh wait. BA is one of the last to ever hop off a bandwagon. They admitted they made a mistake in rating Colvin before the draft (as did just about everyone else). They're off the Pawelek bandwagon b/c of showing up for camp out of shape. Dope and Harvey barely make the list these days. Dope was our #1 prospect back in 2005 (Harvey 3). I think the bloom is off the rose. Not the best guys to back your bandwagon argument. You do realize that BA listens to the Cubs when they create their lists? And it wasn't like Pawelek wasn't demoted to the bullpen during the Boise season after showing up out of shape and not making the Peoria team. The fact that Dope is still at #12 after barely doing anything in 05 and 06 is a good example. What about Mark Rogers with the Brewers? David Kelton in the past? BA always takes a long time to drop the high-ceiling guys (especially if they have a lot of hype or were drafted high), they even admits to it.

  13. ESPN2 is showing highlights of Super Bowl XX. :)
  14. I really think out of K's class though King is the weak link. Singler and Nolan Smith are great gets. Love is good, I saw him play against Gordon and Rose this summer and was real impressed with his ability to outlet the ball then beat it downcourt. He was a hell of a get for UCLA. Kent has to be sick to let that kind of talent leave the state this year. What does he think he is Bruce Weber missing on all the instate kids? :P Singler and Love both said they didn't consider Oregon because of Kent (but Ernie's done a heck of a job with the Ducks this season, despite the sweep in LA). I agree that Singler and Smith are way ahead of King and King might become irrevelant with guys like Singler ahead of him.
  15. Wow, stunned that Harper practiced after all the talk of him on Friday.
  16. He's going to need to learn that when the chips are down, running right into the teeth of the defense and attempting to get off a wild, well-defended shot isn't going to win you many games. But yeah, I'm impressed. 2 road wins in a row out west for the Bulls. Yes, they were against weaker teams, but we need this badly. It will once he's a star (he'll draw the foul). In regards to Thabo and Tyrus - I felt the Clippers game was a great time to get Thabo more playing time because he matched up well against the Clippers bigger guards.
  17. Hey illiniguy, Lake Oswego HS beat Santa Ana Materi Dei HS yesterday. Kevin Love had 36 points, 16 boards, 4 blocks and did all that with a 102-degree fever. :) The thing that stunned me was his passing (which you always hear about) - he knew where and when to pass it as the double and triple teams came. Mater Dei's Wear twins (class of 09, definitely on UCLA's radar) didn't look that great and Taylor King (Duke) had a bad shooting night but I've seen him before and Coach K is getting a good one.
  18. Current Conditions: Miami, Opa Locka Airport (Last Update on Feb 4, 12:53 pm EST) Light Rain, 66°F (19°C) Looks like patchy fog will stick around all afternoon in the Miami area. http://image.weather.com/web/radar/us_mia_ultraradar_plus_usen.jpg
  19. Didn't look great but it was another road win out west. Brandon Roy is going to be a stud.
  20. As good as that second quarter was, the first and third quarters have been brutal.
  21. I've been spending a lot of time on YouTube this afternoon, looking at various videos. Getting me pumped up.

  23. Those are shockingly appropriate. Hopefully they don't turn out true of course. So if the Bears win, Rex is awesome and Peyton collapses in disaster and chaos, the stars explode? Man...talk about choices...I need to think about it. You need to think about it? What a bandwagoner.
  24. If you're really craving for some baseball and can't watch it, you can always follow on Gameday off MiLB.com's web site. Puerto Rico and Venezuela are tied at 2 in the fourth inning and Ronny is 1 for 1 tonight.
