  6. Yeah, Myrtle Beach and South Bend are on 6-man rotations. Knoxville and Iowa are doing 5-man rotations which is why the Tuesday starter gets 2 starts a week.
  7. Hope we can get that 94 back up to last year’s velo.

  9. Marquee is showing the Iowa Cubs game though they'll probably start in a rain delay.
  10. Antonio Santos starting for Knoxville instead of Wiggins. Wonder if he goes tomorrow, just like last week. MiLB.com out here lying to us.

  14. Wow, shocked to see none of you liked the pick. He was my favorite choice of the guys available at 12 (CMB was my realistic hope and Malauch my pipe dream). Essengue is the second youngest guy in the draft but was still productive in a professional league. That goes a long way for me. He has a projectable frame and good motor. He isn't a great shooter but at pick 12 in a mediocre draft, I'll take the upside swing. Hopefully the Bulls hire a good shooting coach since they inexplicably fired Peter Patton.
  15. Tyler Schlaffer took a no-hitter into the 7th before giving up a 1-out double. EDIT: He works around it. Schlaffer's final line: 7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 10 K on 100 (!) pitches He's got to be ready for Knoxville.
