I don’t think so. Leiter (soph) and Lawler (draft eligible again as a sophomore) have leverage. The Mets and Nats have been willing to go over slot for talent. And we’re bound to get some weird picks with next to no season last year, no college summer leagues last year and many states starting their prep seasons very late this year. The Pirates and O’s definitely went below slot, hope the Royals did too.
