Fwiw, I like the videos and reports on Nimmala more than McGonigle. I also like the swing and power potential of Aiden Miller. I’m biased but for non-baseball reasons, I would love Nimmala.

The Cubs lost Chris Clarke in the major league portion of the Rule 5 Draft and so far, Bryan King in the minor league portion. They’ve added righty reliever Nick Burdi, LHP José Aquino (who has barely pitched outside the DR) and OF Jefferson Encarnacion in the minor league portion.

Where did you see that the shoulder injury requires surgery?
At least it’s nice the injuries aren’t severe enough to keep him from traveling back to Chicago for the surgeries.
