First and foremost congrats on another nice job of trolling. Anyways i don't consider a 100 at bat sample size to be small. And so if that track record of lhp failure continues I don't understand why you wouldn't consider giving some at bats to a capable alternative. If the alternative fails you simply go back to the original situation. Plus rizzo showed last season what can happen when you aren't given the occasional day off. A sizeable second half decline becomes a legit possibility. I'm not trolling And a 100 PA or at bat sample size is pretty small, whether you consider it to be or not, especially if you're trying to establish something as relatively unusual as a reverse split.

Confirmation that the Cubs are using dynamic pricing for single game sales to the general public came in this email today. I was wondering why the pre-pre-sale prices seemed a little off and was thinking it might be this. Only STH get the regular "face value" and we will only have that until April 4th.

I remember heading into maybe the post 2014 offseason saying we had a bunch of guys who projected to be 3-4/middle of the order type hitters and I remember goony causing a big fuss about it. So basically you won't be able to use the workaround where you google the name of the article and click the google news link anymore. Previously, people who found Trib articles through search engines could view for free. Now everyone who visits the site from any source will get 10 free articles to read per month. I'm guessing clearing your cookies will reset the 10 article limit. I haven't had any issue still using the Google workaround

100% agreed with this I don't think his defense is really that bad in LF. it's the new narrative after the ugly plays in the NLCS everybody nationally is convinced he is worse than adam dunn bad in LF now

Wilsson Contreras, the Frenzied Receiver. :) Some pitch-framing analysis suggested Contreras was quite poor at pitch-framing, well worse than Schwarber. Who knows. But I think good pitch framing is usually associated with a quietness with the glove, not sure "frenzied" and good-pitch-framing typically jive. But, who knows. Hopefully he can be a nice, good pitch-framer, and if he's an energetic frenzied receiver in everything else, that's just fine. All those jokes aside, I think his point was that even if he ends up a shaky framer, he'll be good.
