    It actually looks even better when I just switched to sub-silver...and I like how the board takes up the whole screen in this skin. Only weird thing is why does it dim all the images in posts/sigs unless you rollover them?

    old-timey script like they stuff they had all over the wrigley renderings that said "Wrigley Field" where there would be advertisements? anyway, yeah, it looks great...only thing i'd change is maybe get rid of the North Side Baseball text underneath it... seems kinda redundant

    last year was the weirdest thing...i thought most of grb hated matheny and then suddenly when maddon won the MOY it was the biggest injustice ever. it's like they know he sucks but thought he should've gotten it anyway because the cardinals had a good season despite a bunch of injuries. and they also really hate maddon because of the "we'll finish it" comments that they probably misinterpreted.

    sutcliffe just said that if he had to pick a guy "to lead that staff in wins," he'd pick corbin this is while a huge graphic of all their starting pitchers, including zack greinke, was on the screen

    I was just catching up on this thread and was gonna say that Almora is either super slow or he Edmondsed the hell out of that catch linked earlier. Almora isn't very speedy. Iirc pretty much every scouting service talked about how his instincts in cf that make him so good out there are other worldly because he's got very average speed for a cf'er. So his stellar defense heavily relies on his acumen for the position rather than his speed, which is impressive when he's pretty much praised across the board for his defensive ability. Kyle def knows this and has brought it up many times re: Almora in questioning just how good his defense really is.
