  1. all these guys with the early 90's walkup songs has to be grandpa rossy's doing right?
  2. does addison's stance look different at all?
  3. what a weird guy to hate what am i missing
  4. if he donged here it would be so kerry
  5. it would be annoying and shitty for the "x amount of starts without a loss" streak to end the start after the "x amount of starts won by the cubs" streak lets not have that happen
  6. how were they "fluky" in the sense that any hit against arrieta is a fluke

  8. damn, llf. that was horsefeathering hilarious.
  9. no i realize it wasn't being directed at me...just saying. the record got a little too pedestrian for my liking too.
  10. 1/3 of the way through, Fowler on pace for 9.3, Bryant for 7.8 (with wind blowing out in his future) and Zobrist for 8.4.
  11. this is kind of silly. the cubs are going to be favored in every game short of maybe a hammel vs kershaw type matchup where a good team has a great starter going against one of our lesser ones, but they can potentially lose literally any game, and it wouldn't be unlikely enough to be considered at all shocking. this is baseball. You act like I was speaking in absolute fact. I posted that knowing full well that the Cubs could lose any game on any given day. The point is and was, the Cubs just haven't lost with any consistency against anyone, and especially against anyone that isn't a really good pitcher who has a really good game against them. And the paragraph you didn't include in your quote, included me saying that the Cubs have a good chance of winning (because they don't see any really good pitchers that seem capable of really good games) unless their own starter implodes. i realize that. i just think it's a silly thing to talk about when it's baseball.
  12. yeah...7+ up in the loss column on all of baseball
  13. nah, what he's showing is what weather channel had last night...accuweatehr just had a storm maybe in the middle of the game. now both are showing it that way. I posted a picture taken at 8:30 this morning of the forecast. I guess it changed yeah i'm sure twc was showing the same thing then that i saw at like 2 or whenever i went to bed

  15. Strange, yahoo weather (on iphone) has the rain starting at 1 and going until 10 pm I was mostly looking at future radar while waking up and drinking coffee. Your forecast is probably more accurate. nah, what he's showing is what weather channel had last night...accuweatehr just had a storm maybe in the middle of the game. now both are showing it that way.
  16. Has there been a new study showing such drastically different results? http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/hitters-no-longer-peak-only-decline/
  17. can you see it now?
  18. i wasn't so much worried as annoyed that we had such an embarrassingly paltry lead
  19. i have a hard time seeing any draft pick who makes it to the big leagues with any semblance of a significant role as a failure, but maybe that's just the bias of having witnessed our track record with them over the years.
