i, personally, couldn't care less about home/road splits. arrieta, lester, hendricks, lackey is how i'd go. i could probably be talked into hendricks #2 but it wouldn't be because of home/road.

Prime Maddux put up ERAs in the low 2's in the steroid era and threw in the 90s. And the part in bold is kind of a weird thing to say. It's baseball and he's a pitcher.

jed basically says they didn't think it was right to include him with the roster expansion guys...like a show of respect or something. at least, that's what i heard passively listening on the radio just now. but yeah, basically you just "send down" whoever and they "come back" tomorrow.
