i would honestly just stop being cute with trying to put an inferior hitter in the leadoff spot (bc leadoff!) and put any of those 4 guys there. but i don't really care about all the lineup order concern talk either and don't care much about what the lineup is as long as we're not trotting out lineups with rey ordonez and jose macias 1-2. -
i feel pretty sure he was making an unfunny dad joke (some dad jokes are funny)

Exactly how I feel about the Davis HR. It was actually the first time in my entire life that I let that nonsense into my head and it was basically immediately erased.

RIP Sandy Martinez for a second you had me thinking sandy had fallen victim to the crazy 90's cubs death curse

He's gotta be right there with Allen and Shaw in all of baseball in terms of underrated for their consistency. i've finally lost the PTSD i had with him and his cardinals struggles in/around 2015

That fight woke up the Riz. If he gets up this inning, he is giving us the lead. close enough

As someone who you all know only follows college sports to the extent of what he happens to see on highlight shows or Twitter, I had no idea Allen was this good of an athlete https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2018/5/17/17366362/grayson-allen-nba-draft-combine-numbers-duke

Corey Patterson missed this conversion by one year. i wonder if corey patterson turns out any differently with 2018 cubs level minor league player development vs the disaster that the organization was 20 years ago, which was still a relative disaster compared to the rest of the league
