I didn't even realize a non-afternoon game was possible. Triples the intensity that I was going to root for the Texans already. Wait, now I'm very confused. How does them winning keep us from playing in the afternoon? I assumed non-competition would bump the Cubs to primetime? You would think so, but nope. The Cubs are either the 2nd game out of o3 or the 3rd game out of 4. The 3rd game out of 4 makes it just a slightly later start time. on the flip side, if the Mets sweep does that mean the Cubs get the late game for game 4?

Guys I saw 2 billboards on the way home from work today. It was a ad for Fetty Wap(Dex) and then a ad for Tiger CUBS! It was a sign! lol.

The only time they talk about the Cubs is when they mention Arrieta is pitching Monday. Other then that is a Cardinals slurpfest.

I don't really get why it would be a "must win" game for them. Even if the Cardinals were to lose tonight and Monday, it is still completely within the realm of possibility for them to win games 4 and 5. Yeah. We've hit Lynn well but we don't even know who we're starting in Game 4 and Lackey would pitch Game 5. It's not like we'll have Jake starting Game 5. At this point it has to be Lackey. However, I'm pretty sure he will wait until the day of the game to let the world know.
