    I'll never understand what made Wilson think that it would be a good idea to charge the mound. He got the idea from Robin Ventura. Was that the most humiliating baseball beat down of all time? 60 year old Nolan Ryan giving him noogies! Even more humiliating was the fact that Ryan continued to pitch with a bloody lip and Ventura's blood on his jersey. He was such a stud. You're confusing your games. The bloody jersey game was not the same as when he got in the fight with Robin. It was a Bo Jackson line drive.

    It's too bad Shuster had to [expletive] up so much in the first four matches. We should be at least 4-2 right now and probably 5-1, with an outside shot at 6-0. We should definitely be in contention for the medal round but instead, we're pretty much screwed. yeah we're not as bad as it seemed like after we were 0-4. what i don't understand is how we keep ending up in these situations in the 11th end. we've had the hammer every time and are 1-3, and it took a nice shot by jason smith to get that win. when you only need one point, shouldn't you just be clearing out the traffic every shot? instead we keep ending up with 30 rocks on the ice and trying to wind our way through them with the last rock. You would think that's what they would do. Makes plenty of sense to me since it doesn't seem like the other team could do anything about it. Keep in mind the first four rocks cannot be cleared if left in the free guard zone.

    I can name a whole bunch that are a whole lot less storied (obviously a subjective thing)... :confused: From the black sox stuff to all the bill veeck stuff, I think they have their share of baseball lore... They were one of the charter franchises of the American League, have won 3 world titles, play in a top-3 media market and have several hall-of-fame players. They're certainly not top 4 (Yanks, Red Sox, Cubs, Dodgers), but probably top 5-10. Cubs over Cards?

    Hell no, it makes it a challenge though. On a side note, I am fully embracing DeMarcus Cousins as this generations Sheed. I'm biased, but I think Cousins is way more out of control than Cousins. Its late.
