  4. Shrinkage in a hot tub? That shouldn't happen. When you get out though.
  5. Looks like April 5 @ Cinci to me.
  6. Lou is looking good.
  7. This is not a "do you want him traded?" "do you want him signed?" Or anything like that. Do you THINK he will be here?
  8. prospects that may never amount to nothing I'd rather have 2-3 guys who could be the low cost cornerstone to a team than one ace making near market value who blows his arm out in the near future. Aside from Z, name the last pitcher the Cubs brought up from the minors who has displayed the ability to be a cornerstone to a team? The Cubs have the financial resources to pay Z. For all the moves Hendry has made this offseason, this will be the most important. Showed the ability? Prior.
  9. I don't really think this means anything worth getting worked up over. HE is saying he will leave (test free agency) if he doesn't have a contract. Well of course. I highly doubt he would ever say "I am ruling out the Cubs after 2007 if I am not locked up before hand" Seems silly to eliminate a potential top bidder.
  10. aren't you the optimistic one? You know what I meant.
  11. HE didnt say it that bluntly on Comcast, but he did say he knows a lot of teams will want him to come play for him and he will not talk contract during the season.
  12. Thats my point, 7 may be more than fair market price, but he is not in an open market.
  13. When you get no money from consessions and parking, have to pay rent in your own ballpark, and only get about 8k fans per game every dollar is important. The Marlins need to move more than any other organization in baseball. Loria is an idiot but he has good people running the team. I hear you, that's another player's salary for the year with their payroll. Small payroll or not, they'd look pretty foolish to loose that kind of talent over such a small amount. If it were Pierre, the Marlins would be justified. For his production and considering the current market 7 million is a deal!!! He isn't a free agent, he should not make free agent money. I don't think 7 million is free agency money, do you? For him, certainly not. But your point seemed to be something like "7.4 or 6.8, who cares, either way it is a steal"

  15. Who knew, the guy with Soriano and Zambrano in his sig would also like the best player on the team.
  16. The Bulls don't play West of the Mississippi River until the NBA finals. They play once in Memphis and once in Milwaukee. Every other game is east of the United Center.
  17. I saw Barret #5 after he switched, and saw Nomar #5 after he was gone. I think that anyone who has worn a Sosa for 2+ years without him will continue to do so.
  18. Very neat, thanks.
  19. I think things are healing. He did afterall, do the convention last month.
  20. Haha, good to see I'm not the only one who does that. I do that as well. I do it too.
  21. Does a parent have to support all of their childrens' decisions? No. Just because posters disagree with this decision does not mean they do not want him to do well.
  22. 4-6-3 would work very well.
  23. Where can I find "by position" stats?
  24. Well he already paid taxes, but ok.
