In other news, Aaron Miles continues the tradition of incredibly crappy to mediocre plays going to St. Louis and becoming world beaters. 3/3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI in the 8th spot. I hate St. Louis.
Not that in itself, but the way you're speaking down to everybody isn't necessary. My apologies. It just is a little frustrating to see all the negativity when the cubs are 0-0 and it's the first game of the season. I didn't think I was speaking down to anyone.
Does this really need to start 5 innings into the season? The comment itself or what he was talking about? Well two-fold. 1) The presumption that today's performance by Z is gonna = what we do for the next 161 games. 2) The posting style that reflects that the sky is falling everytime the Cubs don't perform Perfectly (i.e don't score a runner in scoring position with less than 2 out EVERY time we have the chance), even though no team performs perfectly. But maybe I just need to ignore the posts. Congratulations, you're an optomist. We get it already. I was respnding to Mizzou's question. Do you have a problem with that?
Does this really need to start 5 innings into the season? Well do you really sense a change? Um the fact we scored 5 in the first and didn't squander that opportunity was a change. No team is gonna score EVERY time they have runners in scoring position. None. Not even the WS champs. And most teams if you give your ace a 5 run lead that a gimme win for him. I'm not only talking about the offense but our starters habit of getting and then giving away big leads. As for the offense I'm talking about scoring early and not putting teams away. True, but Z isn't gonna squander 5 run leads very often. He was just off today. He's shown over 3 years to be a very reliable and awesome pitcher.

Get used to it. Yea we should write him off after 1 reach on an error going to the opposite field, a fly out to the opposite field warning track/wall, 1 rbi, 1 misjudged ball, and 1 K.
Are we gonna just start this season being extremely negative towards the team on game threads for the purposes of reverse psychology like we did 2 months into the season last year? If so, Quit sucking you bunch of sucky suckers and act like you've played more than just little league ball you Suckiest bunch of sucks that ever did suck. If not, Go Cobs!!!
