From what I read, and I can't remember where I read it, he's close to pitching to Rookie leaguers so he seems 2-3 weeks behind Woody.

We wouldn't want his 5 million dollar arm to get blown out. He's versatile dude and he can help us as a stopper, long reliever. He knows how to do that and he can be really valuable to the team dude. He's been a start, reliever and long relief. Nothing's better than versatility dude. Even when it rears its form in a pile of crap. Ya know, a pile of crap can be versatile, you can throw it at fish when you're fishing to stun them. And that's what Rush needs to do right now. Pretend that he's out fishing and just throw the crap at the fish, dude.

I'll always care. But I'll also, more often than not, be frustrated too. Every time I listen or see a game like this I'd like to kick Rafael Furcal right in the stones. I'd like to drill him in the forehead with an 8 inch screw.

At what point do you just stop caring. I feel like I care less and less when this offense and Dusty motivated philosophy of aggressiveness, particularly when we fall behind, rears its ugly head. WOOO HOOO we got Jack Wilson and Dirty Sanchez out.

In two weeks? Try 7 days. I give them longer, because we have Maddux pitching, and I think that Zambrano will win his first. Besides, 7 days falls within 2 weeks. Last time I checked, 7 days = 1 week. :lol:

What does that mean? Means that he came advertised as the next great thing but can't get it together at the major league level. I know Guzman's sample size is small to this point, but I see similarities nonetheless. Great arm strength but too much nibbling, too many walks, little confidence. That's about the most ridiciulously premature giving up on a prospect I've ever seen. Pitchers don't show up with all their guns blazing. It's very rare for guys to have much success in their first few games, and it's not rare at all for them to give up lots of walks, hits and runs. Agreed. The hyperbole around here lately all around is ridiculous.

It's the bottom of the lineup. He was also over 90 pitches and hasn't been brilliant with those. He's also Angel Guzman, who's main concern has been not getting hurt. Yep, I didn't even think about his pitchcount. You're right.
