  1. To any Kanye West/Common/Hip hop fans: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yogIedreLGY Edit: If you want the MP3 of it, click here.
  2. No kidding. Can't expect to win many games when the other team is getting 2, 3, sometimes 4 chances at making a basket because of offensive boards, and we're going 1 and done because we can't freaking rebound. Of course, nothing was worse than those refs. Absolutely terrible. Probably the worst officiated game I've seen in person. Tom O'Neill is a joke. If he, Hightower, and Welmer never officiate another game again it will be too soon. And in review for Mizzou: blowout Arkansas, dominate Texas Tech, take Kansas to the wire in Allen, yet... lose to Iowa State at home, lose to Nebraska at home, and get swept by Kansas State. DeMarre Carroll's rebounding self can't be eligible soon enough. One positive thing I will say about this game is that I'm really impressed with how Butterfield has progressed as a basketball player as the year has gone on. He's not going to put up huge numbers, but he seems to have found a midrange jump shot (even though he thinks he's a 3 point shooter), and he's probably the only player on the team who will crash the boards (Kalen Grimes I'm looking at you.)

  4. Mizzou vs. Nebraska today at 1230 at the Arena. I don't foresee a problem but that's usually when I'm disappointed most, so we'll see what happens.
  5. My high school football team listened to that speech before we took the field against Providence Catholic in the 2003 Class 6A Quarterfinals. I don't think anything has ever gotten me more pumped up in my life.
  6. Dammit, I have Verizon and I've been looking for Bear Down as a ringtone but I can't find it.
  7. Just wondering, who is going to be announcing the game?
  8. KSU isn't the biggest team in the conference. Hell, 1/2 the game we were playing where Martin at 6'7" was our biggest guy on the floor. That's where the other two things I mentioned come into play. I don't think it's being thrashed... I didn't think it was a poorly called game at all tonight, unlike the first game. I think it's definitely lack of positioning, and lack of effort. The rebound margins have been ridiculous the 2 games. I don't know the numbers, but I'd guess like 90-40 or something. Close, 79-33.
  9. I am so frustrated with this team. I came into this season not expecting much, but it's so annoying being so close in almost every game and just falling short. We need a rebounder. I hope that DeMarre Carroll brings that next year.
  10. Mizzou-Kansas State tonight. Time for some redemption. If we can take this, we should be 16-6 (5-4) going into the Kansas game at home.
  11. I love Pat Hughes. He is so fun to listen to.
  12. Grew up a Cubs fan, grew up a Bears fan, and for some reason I didnt grow up a Bulls fan, so I still have yet to see a Championship for my team. Hopefully that'll change by Sunday.
  13. I know. I think it JUST hit me today. I mean, I was excited before today, but I think after today I was like "wow, my team can actually win the Championship, this is an amazing feeling." 115+ hours!
  14. This is what I LOVE to see. Let's win the Super Bowl, and lock Briggs up long term.
  15. I laughed really hard. This reminds me of that picture of Soriano standing against the wall before the press conference by himself.
  16. I had a dream last night that the Bears beat the Colts 35-32 in four overtimes. The Colts had the ball deep in their own territory in the 4th overtime, and Hester for some reason was rushing the punter instead of returning, and he got pressure on the punter and the punter muffed the snap and we recovered and kicked the FG.
  17. http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/7677/image001em5.jpg This?
  18. Thomas Jones with an 80 yard run on the first play of the game. :D
