  1. happens on the weekends and when the cubs are suckin Makes sense. Plus its getting nice out now too.
  2. Pulling the outside pitch usually helps get a lot of hits.
  3. realistically though, i don't think you could ever convince Sammy to come back. I'm pretty sure it would be the Cubs who wouldn't want Sammy back, not Sammy not wanting to come back. From what I heard (just a rumor, I have no idea if it's true or not), Sammy said he called the Cubs first when he decided to come back and they said they werent interested. Take it for what it's worth.
  4. Sammy homered again tonight. #596. He's the best.
  5. We're the only team that hits into DPs, i'm convinced.
  6. No, lets not forget it. He wasn't pitching fantastic. They had at least one base runner each inning. That isn't fantastic. Take off the Rich Hill blinders. He pitched like poop today. Please tell me you were actually watching the game, and not following on gameday. He has thrown ONE bad pitch. ONE. To be fair, a guy who issued three walks threw more than one bad pitch. By bad pitch, I mean one that can be driven for extra bases. Your idea of a bad pitch is bizarre.
  7. ONE. Two. And sometimes it's one or two pitches that is the difference between a W or a L. Like today.
  8. you've called that a strike all game blue, don't squeeze hill now.
  9. It's 3-2 with 3 innings left. You've got some issues that need to be worked out if you find this depressing.
  10. Pagan hit it to the wall. He just missed a 3 run HR.
  11. The Nats are no hitting the Marlins through 6. Shawn Hill had a no hitter after 5 and the left with injury, so now it's up to the bullpen to keep the no hitter. They are up 1-0, and like I said, they have a no-hitter. (Yes, I'm trying to jinx it, I have Florida winning in a parlay of mine.
