    This isn't something I'd use against Roberts, but that's just me. Feel free to elaborate. I don't know, I just don't think that's something I'd put a lot of stock into. It'd be an entirely different league, with entirely different players, and of all the reasons to not get Roberts (there are plenty, I'm not for or against him at this point), I don't think this is something I'd use as an argument against. You can't assume that the Cubs will falter late in the year just because that seems to be the norm with the team. Wins are wins regardless of what month it is. The games in April and May still count, and DeRosa's monthly career OPS's have never touched .800, let alone above .850.

He sucks, and it's no help that we're playing like absolute crap. The state of Kansas does not seem to want the Big XII championship trophy this year. Leaving it WIDE open for Mizzou ;)

    John Scheyer Actually, for me it's Lester Earl and basically every Kansas player. But Lester Earl especially. Oh, and Kenny Gregory. Mine is every 2007-08 Mizzou player sans DeMarre Carroll, JT Tiller, and Keon Lawrence.

    Sounds like the Mavs will get Stack back: Jerry Stackhouse told the AP that he expects for the Nets to buy out his contract so that he can return to the Mavericks within 30 days. "Now I think it's pretty much a done deal," Stackhouse said of today's reported trade. "I feel great. I get 30 days to rest, then I'll be right back," he said. "I ain't going nowhere." Stackhouse continues to talk as if he's still a member of the Mavericks, saying "We need a jolt. Adding a player like Kidd can re-energize a team."     As a Mavs fan, I like the trade for this year. Being in the bottom-third in assists, we needed a guy who can dish the ball out, and Kidd can obviously do that. I'm going to miss Harris, as I've thought all along that he would be our PG of the future, but this is to help us win right now, and I think Kidd gives us a better chance of winning it all this year than Harris would.

    Besides all the awesome pictures, IMO Spring Training is nothing but a tease. It bores the crap out of me, and all I want is real baseball. I'd probably be less bitter towards ST if it wasn't two months long.

    We're going to have to give up at least 1 of Pie, Gallagher, Marmol, or Colvin to get Roberts. They aren't going to take a bag of garbage for him. I'm all for trading Pie in a deal for Roberts and signing Lofton. In fact, I think I'd prefer Lofton anyways.
