  1. Mizzou gets put in the Miami regional with #1 Miami, Ole Miss, and Bethune Cookman. Ouch.
  2. a 5-2 home stand at least would be sexy. let's try to be 1-0 after today.
  3. http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?webtag=ml-cubs
  4. So wait, we should be wishing Loney was dead/injured now, right?
  5. It seems like we always lose a close game or two right after a huge offensive output. This team is not built for October. It's just not. Well, I'd feel a lot better if we weren't throwing Marquis out there every 5 days. It'd also be nice if guys could get their act together on the road.
  6. i dont get how an offense can just shut down like this one does. it's annoying.
  7. at least this will be over soon so i can go out and enjoy the weather.
  8. The official scorer needs to be tracked down and bludgeoned. On the other hand it does help my fantasy team. well thank god for that.
  9. I'm not trying to hijack your thread, stitchface, but I figure I'd just post this here instead of creating a new thread. I'm looking to purchase a new set of irons this summer. I've played a lot, but I'm not good. I'm still using the same crappy beginner's clubs I've had since forever, so I figured it's time to upgrade. I'm looking for something that'll help me get the ball in the air better (that's probably my biggest struggle with my iron game) and something that will be forgiving when I don't hit the sweet spot. I'm not looking to break the bank, especially since I'm still mostly a beginner and I'm not very good, but I'll probably get a used set off eBay or something, so I'm hoping I can still get a good quality set that will last me awhile for a reasonable price. If you guys have any suggestions that'd be great.
