Mizzou scored 2 with 2 outs in the top of the 8th to take a 6-5 lead. Ole Miss has 1 on 1 out in the bottom half with Kyle Gibson in, who has blown a few games in the past two weeks.

That's why when he was traded to Washington he agreed to switch from 2B to LF, no? Good call, its the Cubs preventing him from playing that position, although he's Weeksian at 2B. I have heard he refuses to play CF now, though. Yeah, but look at him in LF. Do we want him patrolling CF? He's doing us a favor here, haha

Mizzou opened up a 4-0 lead with 4 in the top of the 5th, then promptly gave 4 back in the bottom half. I felt that today Mizzou will either beat Ole Miss, beat Miami to send it to Monday, and then lose to Miami tomorrow, or just bend over for Ole Miss and get it over with. We'll see how the rest of this plays out.

went to the range tonight to try out my new clubs. i absolutely love them. they feel so much better on contact than my old ones, and i like the weight of the steel shafts compared to my old graphites. they are very forgiving -- i've never hit the ball straighter in my life. the 4 iWood is a joy to hit. i can't wait to get out and play a round.

Miami wins 6-5. This Mizzou team is one of my least favorite sports teams of all-time. Mizzou-Ole Miss face off tomorrow morning in an elimination to see who gets to bend over for Miami in the afternoon.
