  1. Going for the monster park in Oakland to the tiny park in SF obviously wasn't going to bode well for Zito. Everyone in the world knew it. lol wat Oh come on it is barely 421 to right center with a 25 foot wall. :D Okay, the gaps are big but down the line its nothing. 339 in left and 309 in right? That's a hitters park.

  3. Hot damn, this is a lot more fun than last week.
  4. No offense to Maddux because I love him, but I want him nowhere near this team. He's benefitting mostly from a huge ballpark, and I think it would be an ugly sight watching him pitch at Wrigley in August/September. I don't think he'd be much of an upgrade over Marquis.
  5. That's too bad. Keon was easy to root for, but he had some issues this past year that rattled him, not the least of which was his brother being shot and killed. For Mizzou, that means a newcomer is guaranteed to start next year, with Lyons, Carroll, Matt Lawrence, and Tiller being the only returning players. This is a lot of ifs, but if Lawrence returns to 06-07 form, Lyons can consistently play like he did towards the end of the year, and Carroll becomes as good as advertised, it could be a really fun team to watch. Tiller is a solid player too, he's perhaps my favorite on the team. The team won't be great regardless, but I'm just hoping they aren't intolerable to watch this year. I didn't even go to a game last year. Edit: I also hope to see a lot of Justin Safford this year. I liked what I saw from him.
  6. The Adams Idea irons I bought on eBay with a 4 hybrid cost me $99.95 shipped. I love how they feel, though I've only tried them on the range so far. If you can try them out somewhere, I'd do it. They're a bit older but mine look and feel great. Just curious - how tall are you and do you know the length of your irons? I'm 6'4", 6'5"ish. My clubs are the standard length, whatever that is. I used to top everything with my generic beginner clubs, but I'm getting pretty good lift with these.

  8. Seriously, is Aramis dumb? Can he not see all they are doing is pounding him inside? He should've adjusted to it by now.
  9. During the first game of this series I watched the Sox thumping while slurping on a Portillo's milkshake which, if you've been in the Chicago area, would know is delicious. I had a mint chocolate chip shake a few weeks ago from Coldstone that was mindblowing.
  10. Marshall looks kinda slow to the plate though, we better mess with his mechanics, get on him when it doesn't work, and then watch him wither away to nothing in AAA.
  11. i don't have the tv on. they said on the radio show that he threw a long side session and felt fine, no pain in his shoulder. Yep, he's set to start Friday.
  12. I think he's pitched great tonight, just two bad pitches, unfortunately. He looks like he's tiring a bit now though.
  13. I finally did it. I finally put him on my foes list. First NSBBer ever to make it on my ignored list.
