  1. It's like a really bad ass action movie. There should be explosions behind them.
  2. i have a good feeling that soto is gonna homer tonight
  3. I'm actually really excited for this game for the first time in...ever.
  4. Photo's kinda weird ... it's like a hug that you give someone you don't really know. no. they're doing the high five/handshake/hug thing. man i sure wish those dern uppity blacks would realize the time and place for that sort of thing m i rite?!?
  5. Is that Soriano's kid to the right?
  6. i hate to beat a dead horse, but i really don't know why people persist with this fallacious nonsense. find me any statistician/sabermetrician who is willing to reconcile just simply throwing half of your sample in the trash. and if we're just not concerned with sample sizes, well then hell he's showing to have a 528 ops true talent level at this point in his career. So wait, aren't you throwing the other half of his sample in the trash by this logic?
  7. did that Boys and Girls Club guy call Morneau Jason and not Justin? I wasn't really listening so I might've misheard.
  8. Awesome pictures. I'm not afraid to say that Geovany Soto is an attractive man. Kerry's goatee is also quite impressive.
  9. Man these ESPN announcers are driving me crazy.
  10. I've seen a lot of Marmol. I haven't seen Soto yet. I saw him, he's videotaping. Erin Andrews?
  11. Z: "LOL dude dusty is gonna rape ur arm"
  12. I've seen a lot of Marmol. I haven't seen Soto yet.
  13. I agree. Honestly I am really getting tired of hearing about his story, but this was great, and he is really likable.
  14. how the HELL did that pop get out? and in the second deck no less!
  15. "This is a new way for him to get high." Awesome.
  16. People love Greene because he's a victim of PetCo park. For his career, he has a line of .271/.321/.487 for an OPS of .808 away from SD. At home, his line is .226/.289/.368 for an OPS of .657. Getting out of SD would be great for him. That being said, I'd only want him now if we could get him for almost nothing. I'm talking a low-level prospect and maybe Cedeno or something. And I'd only want him because he could give us some RH pop off the bench and could give Theriot some time off. I fear Theriot wearing out again like last year.
  17. I went to the HRD at The Cell when it was there. It was awesome because Pujols didn't win.
  18. no, the bleachers are still too dangerous if you aren't paying attention, ask yeti. Last year I went to a game and we were in the first row of the bleachers, and during BP a ball came flying in and it hit this girl sitting a few feet down from me right in the chest. She was okay, so everyone thought it was hilarious. It was weird though, because no one knew where the ball had come from. We're pretty sure it wasn't a batted ball because I had been paying attention to BP and no one had hit it up there, but it was way too hard to be thrown. One of life's mysteries, I guess.
