who else did we have? even though he's struggling he's still the only guy available who can blow hitters away in a tight spot. You...don't pull Marshall after one batter? well yeah but lou's all about matchups. he wasn't going to let him face a few righties in a row. I'm just telling you what should have been done, I'm not gonna play some theoretical mindgames about what is possible in Lou's mind well we can play the could have should have game all year with lou. bottom line is that marshall was going to face one batter and if he didn't get him then marmol was the best guy to come in.

I really can't see DeRo coming back, but I think it'd be kind of cool if Kerry and the Cubs agreed to a deal when Wood was going to retire so he could retire a Cub (do they do that in baseball?). Obviously it doesn't mean anything, but I think it'd be a nice gesture on both sides. And I still think Woody ends up on the Rangers at some point before he retires. -

I definitely never would've done that because there was still value with his glove, but I probably wouldn't have been against a trade that netted some decent value plus cleared up the salary. Either way, if he continues to rake and helps get us back towards the top of the standings, you can serve me a big plate of crow all year long.

I've loved watching Milton on these walk offs the past few wins. He has so much fun. I thought he didn't care and was the worst human being ever. Well when we're losing he punches old ladies and eats babies.
