Really? There's always Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, etc. I mean it's not a bad gig, but one of the best in the midwest? Illinois really does have a hard time in the Midwest right now. Mizzou's done a pretty good job of getting St. Louis back, which Illinois had a stranglehold on for awhile. Most of the big time recruits in the Midwest (assuming they want to stay in the Midwest) are going to look at the programs you mentioned, along with Iowa, Penn State, and others. They're really in a tough spot. If they would've come out last year and followed up their Rose Bowl with 8 or so wins while making a decent bowl, they'd be in a lot better shape recruiting-wise.
