Yeah, that's a bad blow. We're decently deep at OL, but losing a vet like Fisher, who is blocking the blindside of essentially a rookie QB, really sucks.
A lot of speculation on twitter and the like that the SEC wants A&M, they just don't know who they want for the 14th team yet and want to make sure everything is in-line with a full two-team addition at the same time.
That's why it doesn't matter if they'll be a middle-of-the-pack team in the SEC. It's about money and nothing else. If the AD isn't even involved, you know that's the truth.
