Good grief, boys and girls.... ya don't have to listen to them Bozos !! Just turn the sound down and tune your radio to Pat & Ron !!!

  10. Hahaha. Sometimes I regret having the game on mute. Sometimes. I actually don't mind Buck that much. Relative to the other STL broacasters, anyway. Buck isn't all that bad.... it's McCarver that I can't stand.

  12. Pat Hughes is reading off a lineup that include Pujols. Wonder if TLR has changed his mind ? Now Pat is saying that Pujols has been scratched.
  13. If you go back to 07/07 he's 3-29. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/gamelog?playerId=3141 Duly noted. Thanx. Hollandsworth AB R H 2B 3B HR TB RBI BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS 07/07 - 07/22 29 3 3 0 0 0 3 1 4 4 0.103 0.206 0.103 0.309
  14. Does this include last night? I guess not since it was posted before the game started. CERA is pretty worthless because the opponents are different and pitchers have different stuff on different days, the wind could be blowing in vs out and Blanco's sample is too small. I would also argue that Baker picks and chooses what opponents to hide Blanco in the lineup as opposed to Barrett who's in there against the better teams. All valid points. That's kind of why I said.......

  17. Yet another example of Baker as a member of the "Ol'e Boys Club" blindly following traditional baseball thinking and not using common sense or numbers. Ramirez hits righties and lefties well while Burnitz does not even come close to Aram whether it's against lefties or righties. There is absolutely no INTELLIGENT reason why Burnitz should be batting ahead of Ramirez. While Ramirez is clearly a better hitter than Burnitz, I really don't see why it's a problem putting Burnitz in the 4th spot against right handers. Burnitz has a very attractive 0.380 OBP when he's hitting 4th, and Ramirez seems to be driving in runs at the same rate whether he's hitting 4th behind Lee or 5th behind Burnitz. I just don't see a problem here.
