Sorry but with Ramirez and Lee behind them the 1-2 spots should be doing more than average in the run scoring department. What if your 3-4 hitters just did 23% of the RBI in 23% of the PA's? We'd be screaming, that's what! That's all quite true, but it really doesn't address the original point.

Last year, the first and second spots in the batting order (22.2% of the lineup), scored 173 of our total 703 runs (24.6% of the total runs). Lee & Ramirez scored a total of 192 times, while driving in a combined 200 runs. You wouldn't be exagerating a point there, would you ??
