    SPRING HAS SPRUNG !! With today being the official start of spring, seems like the right time to start a signup list for game thread starters. Please don't leave any random comments here; if you post, it will be taken as your intention to be included in the list. There aren't a whole lot of rules to this thing. When your turn comes around, have the game thread posted by midnight the night before the game. (The obvious exception is when the game runs late the night before..... then post the game thread when the previous game ends.) You will continue to start game threads until the CUBS lose, or the season ends; whichever comes first. In the subject line put the date, teams, starting pitchers, game time, and TV channel. Leave all the creative stuff for the body of the post. If your turn comes up and there's a scheduling conflict, like you're out of town and can't get the thread up, just PM me and we'll make accommodations. Spring training game threads are open. Start them as needed. Post season game thread starters will be based on season results. The post immediately after this one will be kept updated with the list of starters, and who's turn it is now.
