Last night they worked the count really well. Ponson had 97 pitches in six innings. Last night, they saw 3.72 P/PA, which is right near league average. Over the previous 6 games, they had been seeing 3.26 P/PA. Huge difference !!
That was certainly a bright spot in the game. Nothing I love more than Pujols whiffing at cubs pitches. Although I do wonder if he might not come back with a vengeance tonight... :-# .... against Glendon Rusch ??? No way !!
I'm lovin' the flood of info, although I wish it contained better news. One of the more chewable bits of data is the one quoted above. As of this a.m. the only team scoring fewer runs in the majors is KC: 26 Florida 238 27 Tampa Bay 232 28 Colorado 224 (How 'bout them moist balls?) 29 Cubs 207 30 KC Masterpiece 200 The good news is ..... things are gettting better. It wasn't too long ago we were on a pace to score 588 runs on the season. We have scored 40 runs in our last 7 games, or 5.71 R/G. Let's hope the offensive juggernaut continues !!
Actually, I'm using Lotus. Excel is so...... well..... it's Microsoft, eh? Not sure what you're asking here with respect to understanding. If there's something specific here that you don't grasp, ask me and I'll try to explain. If it's just generally information overload.... well, that's kind of the point of the exercise. There probably is no cure for that.
