  4. Yes, that's the result of zero walks and 1 sac fly.
  5. I wouldn't argue the point with you, as stated, but at the same time, I defy you to name somebody on our roster that hits right handed and has outproduced Neifi hitting in the second slot. Now, that's pathetic, no? Murton has a .333 OBP in the 2-hole. Yes, that's true. I was only measuring by OPS, and you can make a valid argument that OBP is a better measure of a #2 hitter. batting 2nd AB R H 2B 3B HR TB RBI BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS Perez 23 4 7 1 0 0 8 2 0 1 0.304 0.292 0.348 0.639 Murton 11 1 3 0 0 0 3 0 1 3 0.273 0.333 0.273 0.606 Cedeno 92 5 23 1 2 1 31 5 2 19 0.250 0.266 0.337 0.603

Now, that's pathetic, no? And we thought our 1and2 were fixed when Pierre got here. Are we eternally doomed at the 1 and 2 spot? Dare I say. . . . . . CURSED!!? ::GASP!!:: Consider this....... 15. Quite true. This is the whole basis for the "Worthless stats of the day" bit, you know ?? The point of this exercise is not to show that Perez is better than Ramirez, but rather to make an editorial comment on the fact that somebody thinks Perez saying that he's not as good as Ramirez is even newsworthy !!

  18. Are you )&)(*&_(_(_&(^_*&^ing kidding me? MARSHALL is starting on Tuesday... Yeah, it's Wednesday!! Why don't the Cubs understand that Rusch is the type of guy that ruins any momentum you have. He is a winning streak killer!! I don't know. I just can't figure it out. CUBS are 2-5 when Rusch starts CUBS are 0-2 when Williams starts CUBS are 0-4 when Guzman starts CUBS are 0-4 when Hill starts CUBS are 0-1 when Ryu starts
