  9. I haven't done the research, but I suspect that most teams would have an even better records than the CUBS when scoring 4 or more. I base this on the fact that the CUBS pitching ranks 14th in the league. Edit: FWIW... last year, the CUBS were 62-28 (.689) when they scored 4 or more, compared to this year's 25-8 (.758).
  10. Perhaps because Walker's finally starting to come out of his funk ?? No, that couldn't be it..... that would require far too much intelligence on the part of the manager.
  11. More like .500 (1-1) managing the way I see it.
  12. Wednesday....... Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorm. High in the upper 70's.

  14. I may be misinterpreting your stats but 211/897 is .235 not .190. Reading comprehension is so valuable because it is so rare, no?
  15. Dusty and Jim were none too pleased with his comments after the Barrett/AJ fiasco and they aren't above holding personal grudges at the expense of the team. What did Hill say ? I totally missed that. He tried to stick up for Barrett after the game and was blasted for it by Hendry and Baker (after Guillen made his comments, I believe). Wow. Perhaps he's lucky he didn't draw a suspension himself ?
  16. Hey, don't shoot the messenger -- I'm just repeating what was printed in a family newspaper :) I don't think Fred was referring to you... Right again, Blueheart.

  18. I think that's out of reach. The 1962 Mets lost 120 games.Never underestimate this team! Or.... never overestimate this team, eh?
  19. Modzilla can't be far away
