It's been mentioned that the CUBS are seeing more pitches this year. Five games is not a whole lot, and as others have mentioned, facing good pitchers changes the dynamic....... but through the first five games...... CUBS are seeing 3.49 pitches per plate appearance...... compared to 3.68 last year and 3.61 in '05 Go CUBS !!
