  1. Thanks for shutting these idiots up about how unhittable Darvish is, Rizzo.
  2. I have to listen to the Rangers awful awful announcers. I would rather listen to Brennaman
  3. So between the start and end of that half inning of Cubs baseball the Turkish military started a coup.
  4. Let's end this inning now please so Dempster can go away.
  5. Without looking at his season stat line, the velocity from the left side as a SP alone makes this not true. A guy can't be league average while also having plus velocity? He's got a 5.4 K/9 in over 400 career innings. Not exactly exciting. Yeah the velocity statement is some kind of weird.
  6. He's the definition of league average. Without looking at his season stat line, the velocity from the left side as a SP alone makes this not true. Then you should look at his stat line because he's not good.
  7. Jeff Garlin in the TV booth on the 4th was a thing. On a scale of Tony LaRussa to Oscar Taveras, how drunk was Garlin that day?
  8. He just confirmed that Omar will be donating $10
  9. Who told him this impression was good?
  10. Oh god I would rather listen to Coomer.
  11. He's the definition of league average. My god it's the Coomer inning.
  12. Pitching to Bryant out dumbed the bunt.
  13. He ripped that ball. We need like 12 more for this lead to hold.
  14. I believe they've allowed 27 HRs in both June and July. I believe that's right because I saw a stat last night that it was at 27 and 23 and the Pirates hit 4 HR since then That's just so bad. HR/FB rate of 16% the last 30 days isn't even that out of whack.
  15. Lol. Those were literally your words yesterday bruh. You have reading issues. I'll use smaller words: You are having an overly emotional response to the cold streak and it is making you think things are worse than they actually are. Awwww defensive condescension doesn't look good on you. The cold streak is not illiciting irrational responses because they've pissed away 9 games on the team in second place and have done so rather quickly. They've gone from world beater to the worst divisional leader in the NL. If Arrieta sucks like he has then this team is in deep horsefeathers. The rebuild accelerated because he turned into an ace. Yes they're still good and they're not some non playoff team but they are not the historic team we all thought they were after 32 games. You getting on your high horse and pretending like this current stretch by our staff doesn't concern you is laughable.
  16. Rich Hill would be a welcomed addition.
  17. Your words, not mine. Lol. Those were literally your words yesterday bruh.
  18. Totally fine. Everything is fine. If you don't think so you're an idiot that doesn't know baseball. It's totally fine.
  19. Oh my! This team as it is playing currently is probably closer to the bottom than the top. I can't see how anyone who has been watching this team the last 3 weeks can have an optimistic outlook on this season at this point. I mean they aren't just losing some series here. The complete collapse of the rotation combined with the nightmare of a bullpen doesn't seem to inspire a lot of hope. You realize they're playing a team that was absolutely horrible for an entire month, right? I mean, it's one thing to be concerned and to realize they're playing like ass right now, but it's absurd to just assume they're going to be garbage for the ENTIRE REST OF THE SEASON. It won't be like this the rest of the season. There's too much talent on this team. Luckily the Cardinals actually blow and it'll be a two team race. The Pirates play their weakest stretch of opponents coming out of the break so the gap should close a bit more. Luckily the awesome start has bought this team some breathing room but if you aren't concerned then you're an idiot.
  20. It's Pittsburgh's 200th birthday and they have a massive fireworks show going on behind the stadium.
  21. I've been the biggest optimist of them all. This team is a dumpster fire. The Bucs will catch us by August 1st. lol @ all three parts of that post. You don't think they're a dumpster fire right now? Blind optimism is probably more fun than feeling shitty when you're watching this team. The Pirates play the soft part of their schedule for the next 40 games. We've got Texas and the Mets. You can go on Twitter and see me fighting with people about the state of this team if you care. But the optimism has run out. Getting ripped by the Reds and Bucs has taken it out of me.
