  1. Meanwhile the vaunted cardinals just gave up a quick 6 spot and are getting pummeled by San Diego
  2. http://mlb.mlb.com/images/1/2/4/205402124/100716_sfgchc_baezHR_med_9vc0ih98.gif Vasgersian's call of that was so damn good.
  3. I think he kills the Pirates too and that's it. If he and Grichuk ever get on the same team we'll lose every game.
  4. Poor guys. I just finished their game 1 thread. So much hope even after that loss. Yeah it looks like the board was attacked and down the last 2 days so I couldnt read their reactions to the comeback yesterday That is unfortunate. I was really hoping to read the insanity from yesterday.
  5. Poor guys. I just finished their game 1 thread. So much hope even after that loss.
  6. 104.1 MPH off the bat. Launch angle of 24. 87% hit percentage. Also it's a homer 76% of the time.
  7. Suck it Estrada. I always hated facing you in MLB the Show because your motion is slow and annoying
  8. just a normal outside pitch that caught plenty of the plate [tweet] [/tweet] I think statcast had some issues
  9. Hendricks' velocity is back maybe? That was another excellent inning
  10. I dunno the walks and homers have given him a 4.39 FIP and a 3.86 xFIP. He's a really good pitcher and has been pretty darn good but the homers have been a bit of an issue. Edit: His BABIP was .256 going into today since the trade. 3.73 xFIP and 3.97 FIP after today. Homers have been a bit of a problem, but 3 came in one game when he clearly wasn't quite right. Plus the small sample size hasn't given him enough time to off-set that. He's always done a good job of limiting homers, too. I'm not worried about it too much. Me neither. He's been really good overall since they brought him over. I haven't looked at his heat maps from this year but I bet you he's been nibbling a bit more this entire season than he has in the past, which has led to the higher BB%. The homers are still mostly from the juiced ball and Paul Goldschmidt being Babe Ruth the moment he sees the Cubs logo.
  11. And he's gotten BABIP'd to death. He's Lester 2.0 I dunno the walks and homers have given him a 4.39 FIP and a 3.86 xFIP. He's a really good pitcher and has been pretty darn good but the homers have been a bit of an issue. Edit: His BABIP was .256 going into today since the trade.
