    No, you're right. It's all but impossible. Once the ball hits the grond, no fair catches allowed. But you can just kneel it as soon as you pick it up. The idea would be to squib it so they have to field it at the 10 or 15, and then spend time getting to the 25 or 30 or whatever instead of just being able to teleport to the 25 on a touchback. Would it have cost the Chiefs the yards/time to not get the FG? Who knows. I don't think it's quite as big of a deal that people are making it out to be. Yeah the idea is they have to field it inside the 20 and have to return it otherwise risk being backed up to your end zone. IF the kick is executed properly the return team has to choose between using seconds or having bad field position. IF the squib kick was executed properly the Chiefs almost certainly don’t win. I say if because I’m pretty sure I’ve seen more squib kicks turn into starting a drive at the 40 than ones that actually have the effect they intended to have. Bears at Falcons 2008 :barf:

    Glad that the Packers game is before the Bucs game so I know whether I have to root for the Bucs or not.

    Do they use the same tiebreakers as the ones they use for the playoffs? If so they’d have the same record, same H2H, same division record, same common games record, same conference record so it would come down to strength of victory which the Vikings are leading (current SOV for Minnesota is .436 Bears SOV is .354) Breaking it out even more, the Viking wins have a combined record of 13 games under .500, Bears wins have a combined record of 32 games under .500. Maybe possible for the Bears to catch up there but seems unlikely You’d think it’d be the same. Thanks for the mini research, hopefully the Bears are safe from 2nd!! Edit: I went to the playoff machine on espn and put all the teams they beat with losses and all the teams we beat with wins in week 17 and it still shows us 3rd.

    Taking over a dynasty team mid season. Never played dynasty before. Don’t want to do something silly. Record is 1-7 QBs-Tua Lance RBs-K. Herbert only useable one I have WRs-Chase AJ Brown Bateman then a bunch of nobodies(and Ruggs…) TE-Hockenson and Trautman 2022 and 2023 firsts early and late. 1 pick in rounds 2-5 in 22/23 1-5 24-26. Any idea how to attack??
