    The umps are allowed to miss it, but Price better hop out there immediately. Let me preface this by saying that the rule is stupid and it absolutely needs to be changed. That was horrendous. However, Price was saying that he was waiting for the phone to ring and that he couldn't hear it because the crowd was too loud. That play literally ended the game. What are you doing waiting!? Get the horsefeathers out there immediately. He is a moron. True, no reason to wait to ask. Unless he was unaware where it hit, like the ump, and didn't know that it hit the video strip until bring informed. Edit: Just got home from work and saw more highlights and talk off this game. Price said 4 umps didn't see it and he didn't see it. So questioned how he was supposed to challenge so quick if he didn't know there was something to be challenged. The rule is dumb basically. The goal should always be to get the call right. Nobody to blame but the rule.

    Guess they can make up when they want to apply the rule. I've seen plenty of challenges requested more than 30 seconds after the play was over. End of game rules are different. It has to be immediate If so, that is good because game deciding plays in the 9th or later deserve less time.

    Yes. For one, they blew the call. Secondly, they were gone in a flash. This is ridiculous. Was Price too slow or Umps bolted that fast??
