Cardinals series about to be a tad more important...for us to clinch. -
Lesson learned. Don't ever make 1 slightly negative comment with so many positive variables at play.

In my defense I live in st. louis in 2011 and 2012 so I was there I'm peak Cardinals rally out of nowhere..thank goodness for the even year Giants. Sorry for saying the series will rise a tad in importance. Didn't mean to cause debates.

So let me get this clear.. Do I think the Cubs will blow the lead? No. But if we lose tomorrow and the Cardinals win the next 2, that series isn't important?? If it's not important you are saying it's ok to win 1 of 4. *Not* saying that scenario is going to happen. I was ok with a split in both series but we still have to take care of business.

He had much better command than he has had. think he got really lucky with 2 calls on the first hitter (sogard, iirc?) Gameday had them in the zone.
