    I wouldnt exactly call it a slam, but close. The guy asked him something about the fans and he said something like "yah, they were there the whole time. We started off the year bad and they got a little testy with us, and i wasnt playing all that well and there are some bad ones, but there are alot of good fans and they stayed there till the end" or something along those lines.

    Hours? I expect it to be at least 24 before we hear anything. I doubt they'll announce it first thing in the morning. Allthough, you know what would be really cool? If right after the conclusion of the game today, Hendry waddled out on to the field with and enormous pink slip, kinda like the huge publishers clearing house checks, only a pink slip, and ceremoniously gave it to dusty. Even though technically he wouldnt be firing him, just not resigning him. Still.

    Probably Moises Alou. :roll: #31 I'd hardly call that major. He was an old starting pitcher with just a little left in the tank. When I say major free agent I mean Giles, Drew, Ordonez, Furcal, and the like (those are the ones right off the top of my head the last few years).
