  1. less great opening drive, D
  2. whoooooo special teams!
  3. Chris Johnson or Moreno?
  4. Standard scoring, 14 teams no ppr. QB: Newton WR: C. Johnson WR: A. Jeffery RB: Alfred Morris RB: Spiller TE: Pitta Flex: Kaepernick K: Gostkowski DEF: SEA BN: Mike Evans, Dobson, Baldwin, Brian Quick, Bradshaw, Khiry Robinson Pretty happy with it overall. The bench is in a bit of rough shape but that can be fixed up quickly on the waiver wire.
  5. In the majors I think that's generally true, however when a player is dominating in the minors (something that naturally involves hitting lots of line drives which will drive up BABIP) I think something like a .400 BABIP is not just fluke luck. Bryant BABIP at each level: .404, .400, .440, .367
  6. http://www.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/201408/rs_500x220-140108152152-tumblr_mv3l74pzlG1s9byz3o1_500.gif
  7. Gallo has a 39.5 K% in AA this year. Watching Baez struggle with major league pitching would terrify me if I were a Rangers fan.

  9. 8 team league with extra starting spots to make up for the fewer teams. No PPR, standard scoring. QB - Cutler, Eli (lol yikes) WR - Dez, Jordy Nelson, Larry Fitzgerald, Crabtree RB - Lacy, Foster, Bell Te - Gronk K - Gould, Parkey Def - SF, Car Bench: Manziel, Chris Johnson, Knowshon, Trent Richardson, Mike Evans, Terrance Williams Happy with the team except for obviously the second QB spot. My hopes are Johnny Football goes nuts and claims the spot by Week 5 or to resolve it via trade.
  10. What the what? I love Bryant as much as everyone and I definitely think that he could have come up and had success, but to say that he was completely ready, and moreover that everyone knew it, is just wrong. He had, and has, things he still needs to improve (most notably, defense and a high strikeout rate). Things which minor league development time is very valuable for. It's important to remember that as of late June, he'd been a professional baseball player for less than a year. It's not some grand control time conspiracy to keep him down in the minors. Keeping him down this year and bringing him up next April is a very reasonable development path.
  11. 3K so far for Turner. If he can start striking people out with more consistency he becomes much more interesting.
  12. Bryant is not going to base his decision to sign an extension based on whether the Cubs promoted him in early or late April six years earlier. That's just silly. If the front office thought he was ready in May or June they would have called him up then and used his "extra" year this year a la Baez. He's not just wasting away in AAA because they want to get an extra two weeks of MLB control.
  13. Of the reasons to extend Bryant now, getting him a couple extra weeks in the majors next April should be near the bottom of the list. The only reason to extend him right now, as others have said, would be if he takes something absurdly below market.
  14. For those counting at home that's 15 bases for players 22 or younger
  15. 1.545 that seems low Oh crap that's just his SLG. lololol I made the same mistake hahaha
  16. 2.212 if my phone calculator is working properly
  17. That was a really nice AB for Baez. Fouled off some tough ones with two strikes and more importantly laid off a few stinkers outside.
