    The problem really isn't shootouts at this point. The fact that the Hawks haven't scored a goal in 20 straight overtime sessions is beyond pathetic with the talent they have.

    Impossible. The Cubs are DOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMEEEEEEDDDDDDD because they didn't spent 160 million on someone who has never pitched in the Major Leagues and has built up a lot of innings playing in Japan.

    Have no problem with trading Shark here. He turns 29 tomorrow and doesn't really fit into our window. I would think Toronto and Baltimore are more desperate for a starter now with the AL East getting stronger. Also I expect a Maholm and/or Scott Baker signing and potential flip at the deadline.

    It hasn't. The late 1990s/early 2000s farm systems were quite productive. But you had ownership that wasn't willing to spend to keep that talent. You're not going to see that with today's prospects.

    Because you weren't paying attention? Oh I paid attention. The only real prospects I saw come up where Mark Prior (no-brainer pick), Corey Patterson, and Felix Pie.
