    Most Latin, African and Asian countries have a frightening lack of traffic laws I'm actually stunned this doesn't happen more often honestly. We all know the Cubs had a few minor leaguers seriously injured last year.

    I mean, aren't they like 3 of the 4, along with Adenhart? I can't think of any others. Those are the only ones that came to mind for me. Cory Lidle, Darryl Kile, Josh Hancock, Adenhart as far as I can remember.

    I thought Tate did a good job last year. He's such a good passer, if he can develop a shot, he might be NBA talent.

    Dusty was always terrible and the decline was a result of a poor minor league system and declining talent. Lou was just burnt out after the 2 straight playoff losses. You could tell he was done after '08.

    That's what I thought. But that may have been more of a Sweum thing. we were actually really bad at positioning with Sveum http://www.hardballtimes.com/tht-live/expanded-2013-infield-shift-data/ This is really hard to believe because I couldn't believe at how many balls were hit into the shift after Sveum was hired. But this was probably more just because Quade was completely clueless.

    Well, at least that didn't end up affecting any team's special 2005 season in the long ru...EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE. Seriously, what a load of [expletive] and probably a slap on the wrist penalty. I would be so pissed if I was an Illinois fan. Kind of surprised we haven't seen a Sully meltdown about this yet.... I honestly don't care to be honest and I don't want a pity trophy for this.

    Depends on their relationship when David left which I'm sure is fine.

    Do you remember the Rays of old before he and the talent got there? He changed the culture there rather quickly. Even this year after they traded Price they performed well enough to at least give themselves a chance at a playoff spot. Maddon is a smart guy that gets the most out of his talent and has a track-record of developing players.

    Joe Maddon is a guy who has proven he can get you over the top and get the most out of your players. Rick Renteria might be that guy but he hasn't proven that yet. You get the guy that's proven it.
