  1. I want the Cubs to lose a game by 20 or so runs. I want the game to be so ugly that the fans are actually cheering for the visitor's instead of the Cubs. Getting closer.
  2. Well, I guess this is kind of 'fun bad.'
  3. Baker has to be pissed that they are walking and scoring runs.
  4. Lou says the Cubs must relax their minds. Good to know, Lou. Oh, and less is better. So that's why he's playing Hill.
  5. At least Hill is so much better on defense.
  6. I must has missed something but, why the F**K!!!!!!!! does Lou keep playing Hill? Team having trouble scoring runs -check. You have a catcher who can actually hit - check. Play the one who can't hit - ahhhh, check? Unless I missed it, I wish some reporter would get the balls to ask Lou this question.
  7. Lineups don't matter! Managers don't matter! The actual placement of the lineup may not matter too much, but who is actually in it REALLY does.
  8. I've always been of the opinion, and I think I've heard it here too, that having a bad manager might be worth 4-5 losses while having a good manager may only be worth maybe 1-2 wins. Basically, all I want is a manager that uses common sense. Soto is a far better hitter and probably, at least, the same as Hill on defense. So let Soto start almost all of the games and give Soto a day off maybe once every 7-9 games. That's just common sense. If your two best hitters are still slumping in June, and you have hitters like Byrd and Soriano crushing the ball, move them up to 3-4 and move Lee and Ramirez back to 6-7 until they get their swing back. It's just common sense stuff.
  9. There's some of that "fun bad" stuff I was looking for.
  10. The president? Damn, somebody caught it before edit. That post never happened!
  11. Great, they got a guy to sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame who is reading it off a teleprompter.
  12. I was a pretty big fan of his and wasn't happy when he was shipped out. Of course, that changed when Soto showed up. :) Anyways, hope he does well and makes it back to the majors again.
  13. Lilly, you aren't doing much to help your trade value here.
  14. Oh sheesh...that was horrible. Want to speed that delivery up a bit, Lilly?
  15. Well, at least there's only one baserunner left on!
  16. Way to protect that outside corner, Soriano.
