Where is the best place to find scouting reports on players in the system? I would prefer to find free stuff (call me cheap) but just looking for basic info (how hard they throw, types of pitches, speed, throwing arm). The reason I ask is because I am having a hard time keeping up with guys in the system. Such as Blake Parker, what kind of pitcher is he?

What possible benefit would the Cubs have for placing Z on waivers? teams do it to cover someone else they want to sneak through waivers

I would doubt you were banned just because you're a Cub fan -- there are Cub, Cardinal, and Astro fans that seem to be able to post there. It seems like there's usually a reason for a banning, so if your IP got banned maybe it's because a similar IP to yours got banned? They do require that you send in a short paragraph to get your account activated, but they say most of the applications they deny come in with just a few words written. I wouldn't call Brewerfan overly sensitive, but they do take pride in making sure the level of discussion stays up to a certain standard -- the last thing they want is for it to become another brewers.com board or the JSOnline comments section. going to look to see if i saved my "application" to join, guess it is hard to reach the standards over there (especially because I love to troll just like I do here) me and my 50 or so posts, look out brewer fans here i come

That would be a good idea. We should ask Yost if he'll consider it. not only that but he should require the 110 pitch minimum for sabathia btw the brewerfan board is very sensitive, i was banned before i ever posted because in my profile i stated i was a cub fan...no joke can't even see the website any longer, my IP is blocked...quite silly

I'm in North Liberty but grew up in that area. most of my family went/goes to Starmont and I have several relatives that are good friends of his. I played softball against him and his dad for a few years as well, but I haven't seen either in probably 3 years had many a friend in the strawberry area his mom used to work with me in manchester, the family on both sides definitely has baseball blood in cedar falls now, did you go to starmont? sure did, class of 92 wd '92 here
