  1. Not so fun when the check swing bs happens to you, is it Reds????
  2. I’ll take the over. We’re getting 2 today!!!
  3. I remember saying that and being told I was a moron. Good times.
  4. Not sure what kind of odds I could get, but it might be worth looking into this team missing the playoffs if the payoff is good enough.
  5. Yes, just make up numbers and spout them as facts. The chance of him scoring either time was not good. The process of both decisions were bad. Not a smart send.
  6. It’s quite hilarious how you say some of us are letting bad results complaints about good processes, yet your genius is literally letting a good result justify a bad process. Balm was super shallow yesterday with an incredibly slow runner. Hey got lucky. Then today on a ball absolutely scorched, the same slow runner tries to take multiple bases and is out. Because it was a DUMB decision. BOTH TIMES. The ends do NOT justify the means. Love being aggressive. Dont love making stupid decisions.
  7. Maybe we just put them in a Brewers uniform?
  8. And like I said in other messages, that depth with that runner is not a smart send. Just because it made it does not make it the right move. Good result on a bad process. Doesn’t mean it was smart.
  9. Oh well as long as you say so. Those were not smart sends. You’re flat out wrong. Not a good process, and so there you have it. DUMB.
  10. Less dumb? It was a bad send with a slow runner yesterday and it was a bad send today. Know your runner, and know the situation (next batter, etc). Not sending him is the less dumb move.
  11. Does Dansby need it on a tee? Swing the bat!!
  12. I know you weren’t asking me, but I think the reduced chance of an errant throw in that situation, and with a slow runner, you lose that battle much more often than you win it.
  13. When you have someone that it makes sense to be aggressive with than by all means wave away. However, you need to discern who and who not to send.
  14. Tucker bunting with no outs and man on second and first inning, and Kelly trying to take 3 bases on a double. WTH?
  15. Feels like we’ve been waiting for that offensive maxima since June 1.
  16. This 100%. We do not know if the asks for cost controlled SP included MLB players and prospects or something else. Maybe we all would have balked. Could be the same with the rentals. So for that I do not blame Jed. My frustration lies with what you mentioned….a lack of pivoting to high end BP arms when it was obvious the SP costs were too much.
  17. Agreed. Just a feeling I have. I truly hope I’m wrong.
  18. I’m beginning to worry that Jed might think these prices are way too high, and we stand pat or get more meh kind of additions.
