Anyone know why Cole Roederer was defensively substituted out of last night’s AZL Cubs 2 game? Looks to have happened between innings. -
I mean, it was an easy one to predict but I’m still going to take credit for it. I said it earlier but the Cubs will roll tomorrow, 11-2. Are you expecting 10 RBI from Murphy?

He went in on Yu on the radio the week going in to the A-Rod game. Jesse Rogers says Sutcliffs is a “high level cubs employee” though so he knows what’s what..... Didn't hear about that. That was AROD He went in on Yu on the radio the week going in to the A-Rod game. Jesse Rogers says Sutcliffs is a “high level cubs employee” though so he knows what’s what..... From what I remember, Sutcliffe was on Waddle & Silvy show and stated something to the effect that agreed with AROD and something about Yu not signing autographs for disabled kids during spring training. He has since tried to "clarify" himself.

isn't the pitcher basically hitting 9th whenever Russell plays? I'd rather some combination of Zobrist, Heyward and/or Baez bat in front of Rizzo instead of Russell/pitcher

Might be time for Joe to set a normal lineup moving forward. Rizzo batting 3rd/4th and pitcher batting 9th.
