good win, now on to tommorrow. I though Silva might have been showing himself a few starts back, but his last outing was great. Still given the fact he has been historically good real only in April, and the fact this Texas offense doesnt stay cold for long, i am a bit scared. Champions League Final+Cubs vs Rangers= loooong day of Fox watching, and hopefully two blue wind and two red losses. Inter is off to a good start for the first blue win, now the question is, which blue team will score more, Inter or the Cubs? Inter has a one goal lead so far...... -
like everyone else said, bad offensive display. what was it 1-8 with RISP? Thankful it wasnt worse, Lilly looked really bad in the first inning, but was better later on, real positive there....

Why isnt Castro higer in the lineup? If anyhting, the #9 hitter should be Nady. Hes got a .435 OBP vs righties but only slugging .235, making him a perfect #9 guy to act as another lead off man. Meanwhile Castro's power has got to be up higher in the lineup, probably after Byrd

Whats worse about the lineup vs Lilly, is that these guys in the middle really rake against lefties

I know I am late to the party, but I see a lot of this being put on Grabow (not just on the posts I read here, but around) Grabow sucks, but giving up a run in that spot against such a great team is not that bad. What is bad is letting Jose Contreras shut you down when you get runners on first and third (btw, did anybody feel lucky to get in that spot. It looked to me like Soriano never watched the ball as he headed towards second. If that ball carries just a bit more, its a DP). Equally as bad? Kosukes throw. He double clutches it and throws a bit up the line. Not that bad until you realize its up the first base line, not the third. A loss that leaves us with a bad taste in our mouth, but a split with the Phillies is not that bad in the end.
