let's be giant whiny pessimists shall we? bryce harper's average WAR the past 3 seasons: ~3.8 here's some guys who had a 3.8 war or better last season: jean segura ozzie albies david peralta tommy pham scooter gennett brandon nimmo jt realmuto whit merrifield all fine players, sure. but no one i'd like the cubs to throw 100 million at, let alone the $300 million plus bryce is getting.
