Now Purdue is in danger of blowing a Big Ten title to a Penn State team with Battle on the bench with cramps.

Talor Battle should be in those TV ads where the people hit the ridiculous shots (over the house, off the wall, etc.).

If you want to reply to things that people didn't write, why not just open a text editing program or something? It seems foolish to spend money on an internet connection if you are going to ignore what your browser presents and just make stuff up. I'm sorry, didn't mean to offend. Please keep going on the Cutler topic, I needed a good laugh this morning.

Again, this is where we'll have to respectfully disagree. I've seen too many Lovie Smith teams win seven to nine games with ball control. Read: phenomenal defense and special teams. Funny how much better a defense looks when the other team isn't given the ball in great field position 26 times through picks. haha, a bottom 5 defense is Cutler's fault too now...

So, dumb question time. I'm assuming because next year is going to be 'uncapped' we want to frontload the hell out of any contracts we give to guys this offseason? As opposed to giving the players a bonus that will be prorated against the future cap over the length of the contract?

Losing Hummel sucks. We're probably not going to do well in the tournament, that sucks too. Beating the [expletive] out of IU is fun.

I guess IU is exactly what the doctor ordered for Purdue's offensive woes. That being said, Bade is still terrible at basketball.

Can anyone suggest a draft guide worth buying? I think they're all in the $7-10 range nowadays. I was planning on running to Barnes and Nobles after work today to pick one up.

You're nuts. Indiana started mailing it in the second you guys beat them in West Lafayette. They don't stand a chance. And you could lose your last 3 games by 40 and you wouldn't be a 6 seed. I can't see you slipping past 3. They're a completely different team. They have no offensive rhythm. Moore and Johnson are now getting the defense focused on them and they aren't standing up to the pressure.

Purdue is a terrible basketball team without Hummel. They're averaging 24 points a half in his absence. Moore and Johnson both shot like [expletive]. Purdue is going to lose to Penn St. on the road, and maybe even IU at home. Probably roll into the tournament as a 6 seed or something.

If Kansas, Kentucky, and Syracuse all lose, and Purdue beats State (which I don't think is going to happen), I still don't think Purdue would be #1. It would have to be Kansas still, I think. If Syracuse wins, yeah, they jump Purdue and take over #1.

Hummel gets hurt, and the rest of the team forgets how to play. Moore looks like he's never shot the ball before. All they can do is shoot 3's. Not getting it to JJ and Moore is doing absolutely nothing.
