  1. Oh, and they are going to lose in the first or second round of the tournament. They are nothing without Hummel.
  2. I was kind of hoping they wouldn't score again in the half. They deserve the record for worst half ever.
  3. Osmont AND 1!
  4. Oh, and Purdue is in serious foul trouble right now. :D
  5. Shurna looks like a giant sized Haley Joel Osment.
  6. Patrick Bade just touched the rim. I'm stunned.
  7. eh, Moore was fouled on that 3-point attempt (with no call)... but yeah, Hart definitely fouled your guy too...
  8. oh wow, they just showed a Purdue fan on screen that I do not want to claim...
  9. Bade can't get out of his own way.
  10. Moore decided to show up.
  11. HAHA! Northwestern 5 - 5 on 3-point attempts. Purdue is going down.
  12. Oh sweet. Purdue is taking the Wisconsin shooting approach.
  13. I hope nobody jumped prematurely. Obviously not an Illinois fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing another Big Ten team make it to the tourney. This makes it close to a lock, no?
  14. Don't feel bad. OSU almost lost to Michigan and I have a feeling Purdue is going to lay an egg too.
  15. Add in Nankivil and Taylor and they're 3 for 29.
  16. Wisconsin is shooting 15.8% from the floor with almost 5 minutes gone in the second half.
  17. Illinois is only up 9 at the half. Refs are giving Wisconsin the game.
  18. :-)) http://www.blackheartgoldpants.com/2010/3/10/1366181/transfer-bug-resurfaces-for-iowa
  19. Yeah, you can see him almost foul on purpose when he gets frustrated. He seems to lack focus and makes pretty simple mistakes sometimes - I agree he has a lot of upside (in my opinion). I pray for Barlow when I see Bade on the floor. Barlow plays a hell of a lot bigger than Bade even though he's three inches shorter. What are your thoughts on Bade? It seems like Painter is giving Bade a lot of chances to improve, but he just looks so hopeless and lost out there. The best thing I can say about Bade is that he is a project. You can see that he has the potential to be a very good rebounder, but his feet are way too slow right now for him to be very effective in most aspects of the game. That's the main reason he also gets into foul trouble...he can't move his feet fast enough and ends up having to foul to prevent people from driving around him. He actually could be a decent shooter, although he does a horrible job getting himself in a position to shoot. I'm just hoping the coaching staff can get him to improve his footwork to the point where he can be valuable for 10-15 minutes per game next season. By the way, WTF ever happened to Sandi Marcius? Early in the year they kept hyping him up, saying he'd be healthy by the time conference play came around and that he'd be able to give them quality minutes in the post. I haven't heard anything about him since late last year. I'm assuming he redshirted, but I have no idea. Yeah, I'm 99% sure he redshirted. Otherwise it would be a crime to have Bade out there over him. Everything I've heard about him is positive, so hopefully he can add to our size next year too.

  21. That, too. Worst case scenario, I can see him having a career similar to Grant, provided that Barlow stops acting like a [expletive]. However, I think the potential is there for him to be much better than that. I'm concerned that his attitude might not come around though. I think a lot of it is going to hinge on his ability to hit those free throws. He's a great athlete and driving to the basket is/should be a big part of his offensive game. At this point, teams are just going to hack him and let him brick his free throws. He hasn't impressed from mid-range and beyond shooting either. I don't think he even hit a 3-point shot on the year. I'm seeing best case scenario as him being an active and athltetic defender with the size to defend any guard in the league. If he starts hitting his free throws and drives to the basket more he could become pretty valuable.
  22. From what I saw, I was not very impressed with Barlow. Barlow has talent, but he needs to learn some discipline. Plus, he's kind of a d-bag. He needs to learn how to shoot free throws too.
  23. Oh, yeah. http://www.bigten.org/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/030810aab.html POY Turner First Team: Turner McCamey Lucas Hummel Moore Coach of the Year Painter (coaches) Matta (media)
  24. I'm sure you will all be pleased to hear that Chris Kramer was named Big Ten DPOY for the second time and became the first player to be on the All-Defensive Team for all four years.
  25. Yes! Hopefully they'll be playing next Sunday. I think there is a chance if Moore decides to make an appearance. He's been absolutely invisible. I am glad that we saw less of Bade today. He spends more time fixing his shorts than he does watching the play develop.
