How does that happen? It's quite a sight. He's perfected the near miss. It's not like he's throwing up airballs they just bounce off the rim or the backboard. The funny (sad) thing is that his bread and butter is getting to the rim and drawing fouls. People say he's regressed from last year, and he has, but it's not like he was a good free throw shooter last year either. He shot 55% from the line. He was a four-star rated #51 overall in 2010 by Rivals. Granted he's only a Sophomore so he's got time to turn it around.

Please... Royce White is a 6' 8" Forward shooting 51% from the line. Terone Johnson is a 6' 2" Guard shooting 34%.

Purdue's just not very good this year. It really sucks that Hummel isn't going to get to go to the tournament his senior year. I honestly see 3 wins left on the schedule, maybe 4 if they steal one. I don't think that's enough. Oh... and if anyone is wondering... Trey Burke is going to drive to his left again...

If Purdue's going to beat a ranked opponent tonight is one of the better opportunities. I would say this game is as close to a must win as a team can have with 11 games left on their regular season schedule. If they don't steal a couple of these games they're going to end up in the NIT.

Purdue team was at the airport in West Lafayette until after midnight last night waiting on the weather. They apparently got on a bus around 5 am this morning and got to MSU 90 minutes before tip.

The one on Smith? Are you suggesting that was hard or something? I suggest re-watching it. I've already been kicked off the tv in favor of chick tv. It looked hard at full game speed. It was certainly pointless given the time left and score. Before the season I thought Basabe was your best player but it's Marble hands down. He's going to be a beast the next two years.
